Bhopal, March 15 (NationPress) In a tragic event that unfolded during the Holi festivities on Friday afternoon, three individuals tragically lost their lives in a vehicular accident in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh.
The deceased, who were all related, were returning from Katra to their hometown, Gambhirpur, located in the jurisdiction of the Garh police station.
This ill-fated trip, intended to bring them back to the warmth of their home following the joyful Holi celebrations, ended in disaster when the car they were traveling in plunged off a bridge.
The mishap occurred around 3 p.m. when the vehicle, carrying the three individuals, fell from the Agdal Bridge, as reported by Avinash Pandey, In-charge of Garh police station, in a phone interview with IANS.
The car was located after local residents and passers-by raised an alarm regarding the accident.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the victims to the nearby Gangev Community Hospital.
