Los Angeles, Jan 21 (NationPress) American socialite Paris Hilton disclosed that her son Phoenix aspires to be a good Samaritan as he grows older.

In a recent interview, Hilton, 43, mentioned that her 2-year-old son wishes to become a firefighter in light of her losing her Malibu residence in the Los Angeles wildfires, according to People magazine.

She told TMZ, “He expressed his desire to be a fireman.” The reality TV personality conveyed her heartbreak for everyone affected by the disaster, stating, “I feel devastated for all those who have lost everything” due to the wildfires.

“The families, the children, the animals, it’s just been heartbreaking to witness the devastation in California,” she expressed to the outlet.

According to People, Hilton also talked about fostering a dog named Zuzu, whom she previously mentioned taking in after the pooch’s family “unfortunately had to surrender her following their home’s destruction in the wildfires.”

“We adore Zuzu,” Hilton remarked while glancing at her son Phoenix. The mother of two noted that Zuzu’s previous owners lost their home in Altadena during the fires, and her family has been fostering the dog for the past week.

“We’ve all completely fallen in love with her,” she continued, disclosing that they plan to adopt the dog. Regarding the reconstruction of her home, Hilton mentioned that her husband, Carter Reum, is “handling all that.”

Hilton’s remarks follow just over a week after she shared images of the charred remains of her Malibu home, which was lost in the Pacific Palisades fire.

“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Hilton posted alongside footage on Instagram. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock, I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and witnessing it firsthand, it feels as though my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”

She added, “This house wasn’t merely a residence; it was a place where we dreamed, laughed, and created beautiful memories as a family.”
