Gandhinagar, April 23 (NationPress) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024.
Shakti Dubey from Uttar Pradesh has claimed the top position nationally, while Harshita Goyal from Haryana follows in second place. Notably, Margi Shah from Gujarat has achieved the fourth rank.
This year, three candidates from Gujarat made it into the top 30, showcasing the state's significant representation in this esteemed examination.
A total of 1,009 candidates sat for the UPSC exam, with only 241 successfully passing, which included both the mains and the personality assessment.
The examination process commenced with the written tests in September 2024, followed by interviews conducted from January to April 2025.
The final interviews wrapped up on April 17.
Qualified candidates will now advance to prestigious training institutions, such as the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration for IAS trainees, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) for IPS, and other relevant establishments for allied services.
